LONG TIME
Sorry it has been FOREVER since I have written or posted pictures! Life is already busier and the baby isn't here yet! We are both work 40+ hours, saving money for maternity leave, and Alden is being cared for by grandma when we are at work. We try to make the weekends fun time for all of us as a family amisdt cleaning the house and getting ready for baby. The kitchen is finished (finally) and I will post pics of it soon. We have to paint and set up the nursery still.
Alden is doing great! He speaks very clearly and is very sensitive and sweet to others. He lets you know how he feels! He is excited about baby brother so far and loves to hug my belly and talk to the baby. He did well in his sibling class and talks about how the hospital has babies in "boxes" (the little nursery plastic beds). He still adores trains and recently got to ride the Thomas train with Ghee Ghee and Pa! He still hates costumes (Chuck E Cheese and Sir Topham Hat) and loud noises. He talks ALL THE TIME about everything he sees and knows where things are around town and how to get there!
Judah is getting bigger by the day and is already in the right birthing position. He feels like he drops more every day and I am having Braxton-Hicks Contractions daily. I'm tired and have indigestion as well as sore hips and pelvic area. Other than that, I'm great! I plan to work until October 30th and then take off until the first of February. I am actually trying to stay home with my children for a while and possibly go back to school, sell the house, and move to NC in the next year! CRAZY! We have many things we need for baby, but there are still some neccessities up on Target.com (mainly a co-sleeper, a sit-n-stand stroller car seat combination, a bouncy seat, burp cloths, bottles, and some baby toys). We had a wonderful shower with a some friends and family. It was VERY eventful! Thank you to Madeline for putting it all on for me. You are the best!
