Christmas Wishes

EDIT:
I have had requests for more items for the wish list. There is a wish list at Toys R Us from his birthday left over - just look up Alden Dail under "wish lists" and it will come up (Link Here). Also, Joey likes Guitar Center gift cards and gift cards to places he can buy nice work boots (like Red Wing). I would enjoy a massage, manicure/pedicure, etc. A year membership to the Discovery Center or the Zoo would be great for our family!
Joey and I would mostly like money towards fixing up the yard and the house to work towards selling it. We have listed some other small things. Alden is in a size 3T, and he needs pajamas. Judah could always use some baby toys and needs baby pants 3 and 6 months.

Still here - still pregnant

I'm almost 36 weeks and I'm huge! The midwife commented, "You have a pretty good sized baby in there." I don't know whether I am dialated yet or not, but I am guessing so since I have contractions every day starting around 3 p.m. until I go to bed off and on for the last two weeks! They are minor, just make me tired and uncomfortable. Hopefully, this baby will come on his own and not need to be induced.

Alden is maturing so much every day! He speaks so well (only has trouble with "l" and "r") in complete sentences and knows how to explain himself. He always knows where everything is in the town - the other day I told him we were going to Publix to get a cookie and some groceries and he said, "The place with the green letters?" He also thinks of Target as the place with the "red eye". He sleeps well - finally - and still takes the occasional nap (though we enforce an hour quiet time for everyone's sanity!). He is sensitive to others sometimes and trying to get the hang of the whole friend thing. He has a couple friends around his age and tries to make new friends on the playground by going up to them and saying, "Hi, my name is Alden." Most kids don't know what to say, and he gets frustrated, but he'll get the hang of it eventually. He is very excited about his little brother, "my baby" he calls it. He watches video of himself when he was little and states his "baby Judah" will look like that. He also tells us all the things he will have to show his brother how to do. I think he will be a good big brother. He is still very opinionated and follows his own agenda most of the time. It takes some great negotiating skills and creative thinking a step ahead of him to gain compliance without drama! So goes the gifted child.

Joey is still working for S & W and also looking for ways to make more money! We would like for me to able to stay home with the kids, but finances will be VERY tight. We are also looking to sell the house and move to NC next year if we can.

Hope everyone is doing well and I will continue to try and update as often as I think of it!
